^ in Grand slams yes but rest of year it is best of 3 in both male and female tournaments.

Heather Watson won 6-1, 6-0 over Petra Cetkovska, plays Sloane Stephens next, Kyle Edmund beat Jiri Vesely 6-4, 5-7, 7-6(6) and plays Novak Djokovic next. Laura Robson lost 7-6, 6-2 to Kirsten Flipkens

Aljaz Bedene lost his appeal to play Davis Cup for GB

Heather Watson lost 6-3, 6-4 to World Number 5 Simona Halep in 3th round at Sony Ericsson tournament. Jo Konta beat Monica Niculescu 6-2, 6-2
Jamie Murray will become the Number 1 doubles player in the World when new rankings come out next Monday. Virginia Wade is the only other British player to be ranked Number 1 in open era of tennis(1968-) doing so in 1973

Djokovic lost 2nd round of Monte Carlo to Jiri Vesely, 1st time in 3 years he has gone out so early other than through injury/illness

Murray in Q/Finals but having to grind wins out rather than win more comfortablely in early rounds

Djokovic lost in 2nd round of Monte Carlo Masters to Jiri Vesely,it is first time barring illness/injury that he had lost this early in tournament in 3 years.

Murray through to Quartets Finals despite not hitting top fom.

WADA has said due to new scientific evidence that suggests Melodonium which Maria Sharapova took can stay in body long after use they are saying that anyone who tested positive for it before 1st March will not be banned.

Sharapova case will apparently go ahead despite this new advice by WADA
