The Dubious World of Boris Johnson

Boris in a Sky interview today:

Question: Did you intervene to secure a peerage for Evgeny Lebedev when the Security Services thought he posed a national Security threat?

Boris Johnson: 'That's simply incorrect'. Then waffle about Putin's agenda for about a minute

Question: Did you meet with him in March 2020, at the height of the pandemic, to discuss giving him a peerage?

Boris Johnson: Didn't answer the question but instead went on about Putin for about another couple of minutes

A simple yes or no would have done.

The simple answer is of course Yes to both questions. Johnson also left a Foreign Ministers session when he was Foreign Secretary, gave his minders the slip & flew to Lebedevs Italian villa where he was a frequent visitor for bunga bunga parties.

Not really a surprise, there's a pattern here, just when you think he couldn't look more corrupt and incompetent...

Comparing the UK leaving the EU, to Ukrainians fleeing for their lives, well that is what kind of person Boris is.

Still a disgrace, he ruins every bit of goodwill he creates, even if it is faux goodwill.

It seemed lost on him that one of the things that Ukraine are after is to join the EU.
