Voyagers (2021) - 7/10.

Doesn't have the best review score, but I liked the look of it from the promo stuff and I wasn't disappointed.
It does borrow from a few other sci-fi films, set on a ship, in the future, on a mission to find a new planet due to earth dying, blah, blah.
It's saving grace is that it's a different spin on that, not just the same old same old. Worth a look imo.

Actually was going to turn it off after 5/10 mins thinking - what is this crap but stuck with it and once it kicked into gear turned out to be decent and funny.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It

This was my Halloween evening film, not as good as the previous films, I thought it would have been a good one but not really, should have re-watched one of those for a good scare

Dune

It has great reviews and, for some reason, I’m sure most people will like it.

Personally, I hated it. Way too long and pretentious. A legacy of the post-Batman ‘Christopher Nolan effect’ — a pompous ‘auteur’ trying to make an art film out of a sci-fi story.

I could be wrong … it may have been awesome during that 45 minutes in the middle when I was fast asleep.

Mortdecai. 2015.
Johnny Depp, Ewan McGregor, Paul Bettany, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Goldblum, Olivia Munn.
Based on one of the Mortdecai trilogy of books by Kyril Bonfiglioli (These are hilarious btw, very dark humour though compared to the film)
It's an action/comedy/caper type film, and it was absolutely ripped to pieces by the critics, unfairly i think.
I'm not usually a fan of Depp's films and yes, he does go OTT here with the "English Aristocrat" persona, but I genuinely enjoyed this film. There are some funny exchanges of dialogue, one liners, and recurring jokes. Paul Whitehouse has a bit part too (Depp is previously on record saying that Whitehouse is the best actor he's ever seen) The style reminds me very much of the old Pink Panther films from the 1970's, and there is also a nod to "The Fast Show" from the late 90's. It's fast paced and visually bright, stylish and interesting to look at.
There are holes in the plot, and you will figure it all out in the first 20 minutes, but thats not the point of it, its just entertaining fun. The humour is very British, but in a smarter sense rather than the purely smutty "Carry-on" sense. I can see why it bombed at the box office though, because American viewers just won't get it.
Overall I recommend it if you just want a bit of undemanding entertainment that will raise a smile.
