This really is a very sad situation,I really hope everything can be sorted out,I really hope everyone can be cleared of wrong doing and everyone can be happy,I'm really sad about this.

No doubt there will be a race hate enquiry into the incident involving the unfortunate steward. A lot of white people in that crowd The trouble with a still photo is it never tells the full story. As you say the guy could have fallen over and is being caught by a fan or alternatively he could have been pushed. My guess would be he fell as I think a lot more fuss would have been made if he had been attacked.

Doesn't look good for Chelsea this morning. Investigations into the steward injury and objects being thrown onto the pitch throughout the game. There is much talk in the papers of an ugly confrontation in the referee's room that had to be broken up by security, apparently John Terry even got involved in that.

Despite our usual universal dislike of ref's, I get the sense that not much credit is being given to Chelsea's allegations here by anyone, and if the inquiry back's that up I can see Chelsea getting a serious spanking by the FA for the whole set of incidents.

i am going to be very cynical chelsea are very pissed off at losing to man utd, losing to a goal scored by hernandez which could be offside, haivng 2 players 2 sent with one being doubtful. di matteo blamed the ref for chelsea losing the game so why not throw in a racially abusive claim.

if the whole case against clattenberg is found to have no grounds then chelsea should have a big points deduction and every domestic game at home behind close doors with no tv coverage what so ever because it would seem that chelsea are trying to play the victim yet again.
