RE: Snooker
Ronnie's playing Jimmy White tomorrow night, which may be one for the ages (or probably not, but you know).

Ronnie won 4-1, including a 141 in the 2nd.

John Higgins won his match 4-1 also, with a 147 in the 5th Tongue

Oldies Rule OK!

RE: Snooker
Kyren Wilson is a definite potential World Champion of the future imo. Impressive composure.

RE: Snooker
Looking like a very open championship now, there are more surprising names left than big names Smile

RE: Snooker
Really glad Hamilton beat Allen, mainly because it's cool that old veterans like Hamilton are still slogging away and getting the occasional chance back in the spotlight, but mainly because Allen is a tedious tantrum merchant who wants a thick ear.

Weird story on the other table last night, which Colin Murray seemed to misapprehend. AIUI, the Iranian guy messed about a bit at the end of the 2nd frame, and Mark King, rather than laugh it off, got him back at the end of the 3rd. Tensions built from there, which rather spoilt what was also an incredible story of another struggling veteran and a fresh face that most folk have probably never heard of before, never mind seen.

One of those 4 guys will win, which seems the most amazing part of it.
