Four years.

Four years characterized by so much hate and yet so little compassion.

Stirring of poisonous division over diversity.
Endless, presposterous, and scandalous lies.
Debasement of the Presidential office.
Trashing of global partnership and co-operation.
A betrayal of the US constitution.
All of this and more that leaves behind it a most terrible stench has seen its perpetrator exit in typically undignified and unjustifiably self congratulating fashion.
The future for the most repugnant 45th President may yet have a path dictated by trial by Senate and conventional court of law.
Ironic indeed given his shameless unbalancing of the Supreme Court and the endless throwing out of legal challenge against the one concept that seems impossible for the man to accept or understand. Electoral defeat via democracy in action.

January 20th 2021.
A day when some semblance of sanity, common decency and hope appears restored.
Quiet dignity and sense of solemn duty has returned in the midst of a global pandemic and environmental emergency.
The former vice President to the finest, history making leader that was Barack Obama now finds himself risen to the highest of callings.
And a new vice president making so much of her own history in steadfast support of such a calling.

Im pretty sure that was the plan the whole time but i think he will just "abdicate" (probably the wrong word lol) due to age after about 6 months
