Amazon spent 7 weeks advising them that they needed to take action. They sent them posts that were against their terms. Parler failed to act. The attorney Lin Wood posted that Mike Pence should be hung and they only took action after suppliers started to withdraw their services.

Not according to Parler themselves. They sued Amazon for terminating their web hosting and Amazon responded with a court filing as follows:

"AWS reported to Parler, over many weeks, dozens of examples of content that encouraged violence, including calls to hang public officials, kill Black and Jewish people, and shoot police officers in the head. It is clear that there is significant content on Parler that encourages and incites violence against others, and that Parler is unable or unwilling to promptly identify and remove this content. We made our concerns known to Parler over a number of weeks and during that time we saw a significant increase in this type of dangerous content, not a decrease, which led to our suspension of their services.”

Parler conceded that Amazon's court filing was accurate and that the kind of content they refer to had remained on the platform, but claim they are a small outfit with limited resources and their moderating team was unable to manage the workload. They also said the concept of paid moderators was new and that during the time Amazon referred to moderation was dependent upon 'community jurors'. This is consistent with a statement by Parler in November that their moderators were unpaid. It was only after the action taken by Amazon that Parler stated that they had begun paying moderators.

They took action after Twitter removed Trump and Parler went to the number 1 downloaded app.
I take it you think Amazon should also remove Twitter from their servers based on the same grounds yes?

A political move orchestrated by the Dems and their cronies in Silicon Valley and we all know it.

McConnell seems to have finally had a gutful of Trump. It's not beyond the possibility that Pelosi and McConnell are talking to each other behind the scenes.

He might think conviction in the Senate, followed by a vote on banning him from public office, would purge Trump from the party.

160 I read, 70 of whom have been charged so far. Mostly on lesser charges for now, but many will be followed up with more serious charges such as sedition.

the FBI have 100,000 videos and pictures to sift through so there will be many more to follow.
They got the two guys carrying the hand restraints. One was turned in by his ex Wife.

Trump has served his purpose as far as McConnell is concerned. He's got his massive tax cuts for the rich and corporations, deregulation and conservative judges on the supreme court and at the federal level.

Depends, the bar for "self defense", "stand your ground" etc is so low in America that it might be classed as a "justified" shooting. If the cop can show, in any way, that he thought he was in danger or under threat then he likely won't be any trouble.

It should read "as of Monday" so this is information taken from the first people arrested and scrutinised.

No doubt the list of people arrested who also have no connections to Parler will have increased. Some will, some won't, but I would be willing to bet that a larger amount of shit was organised through Facebook, Twitter and YT.

It's somewhat irrelevant though, I'm sure they are all guilty in some way shape or form. The only difference being is that Parler isn't part of the gang, and would likely have been Trump's new platform.

They can't allow that, Trump is evil although 74 million American voters disagree. So, they have a quiet word in the ear of their digital cartel friends to nuke the competition, on both fronts.
