With the casino (how do you bankrupt a casino btw), the mistresses, the bribes, the payoffs, the threats, the court cases and the corruption (plus pretty much any other stereotypical mob thing you can think of), you would think we were dealing with an actual mob boss in Trump, he certainly thinks he is one.

That big ass spotlight on him, his family and their businesses has turned out well hasn't it. You can only con people for so long before either they wise up, or you mess up...and despite the 'mess up' most are still deluded, although some have seen sense, finally. Business in particular want to cut all ties.

I wonder how much of the $300m (+) owed will come from the $240m raised. Hmmm.

The supporters that annoy me the most are the religious ones, they are a disgrace to faith, the stupid can be forgiven somewhat, but they are hypocrites.

Edit.

RE: US Election & Presidency
Fiona Hill, the former national security aide who testified against Trump in the last impeachment hearing, makes a pretty compelling case for why last week’s events could legitimately be described as an attempted ‘coup’.

This Politico article is well worth reading.

In short, the tell-tale signs of a traditional coup are for the insurrectionist to secure - or at least attempt to secure - the military, the judiciary, communications, key institutions, the legislature, and a critical mass of popular support. In his own way — gradually and in plain sight — Trump attempted (unsuccessfully) to do just that.

It's funny how his supporters like to chant ''lock her up'' and ''lock them up'', turns out they're getting locked up. Whoops.

RE: US Election & Presidency
10 Republicans voted for impeachment.

The Senate needs a 2 thirds majority OF THOSE PRESENT to convict so assuming it's a full house and some Republicans can't be convinced to tidy their sock drawers or polish the cat it needs 17 of them to stab the Orange Onanist in the front.

He either has to tough it out and hope the Senate acquits, he resigns and hopes Pence pardons him or he tries to Pardon himself and hope that the courts uphold it as it's never been done before.

Also, if he's convicted by the Senate there will be a further vote to ban him from holding office in the future. This would require a simple majority.

McConnell is said to "leaning toward the idea of impeachment"

That's a big statement from the Enabler in Chief. Trump should be worried.
