What's with the Americans.
They are trying to tip shame Vice President Mike Pence by saying that he undertipped after a visit to a cafe. He tipped $5 on $45 bill.

He was getting slagged off by the staff at the cafe.

But in reality it's a tip.
I'm not a fan of the guy but he probably thought that he'd been given poor service.

Trump called the Georgia Secretary of State yesterday and basically tried to get him to falsify the election results. The beauty is that it's all on tape. Here's an excerpt

Looking good for The Democrats to win the two Georgia senate races based on the information coming through so far. If they do win both races the Kamala Harris casting vote would give the Democrats Senate control.

If they do take control of the senate (50/50 + president), it'll be the first time in like 20 years.

Trump is losing his shit, especially since Pence decided to stick to the rules. So all the objections are now just a delay, he is done.
I also like the fact that Obama's choice for the Supreme Court (that he got cheated out of) will be the AG, good stuff.

Do you mean the first time in 20 years that they've had control of all 3 houses ? It's not been that long. They had a majority for the first 2 years of the Obama administration, and a super majority for a period during those 2 years too (60 Senators, the house and presidency).

They also couldn't get Obama's flagship policy that he ran on, single payer health care, with a majority. They'll still have basically a hard core Republican posing as a Democrat in Joe Manchin to get onside to pass any meaningful legislation that will benefit a lot of working people, which will likely be a struggle. Also the Democratic corporatist establishment are absolutely awful at actually fighting the Republicans, expect them to cave under the tiniest bit of push back or pressure from the right.

Protesters have stormed the Capitol building. Reports of many suspicious packages.

Meanwhile Trump is tweeting attacks at Mike Pence & the Washington Mayor has announced a 6pm curfew in the city

Trump encouraged such behaviour.
No remorse from him.

The man has no shame

House members now being evacuated.

This time next year Trump will be behind bars.
