Tottenham,spent all that money,alright play some great football at times,but achieved nothing,wonder how long this manager is going to last.

Transfer League Table 2003 – 2010

Just take a look at the table below, Arsenal are 2nd bottom when it comes to Money spent on players.
Is this something to be proud about?.. That the club has been able to fight at the top end of the table without spending big.
Or is this the reason to why we have not won anything since 2005?…Lack of investment and nothing to show in 5 years apart from a good set of balance books.
Since 2003 Arsenal have spent £143,050,000 on new players, Money received from Players sold £148,170,000. Thats a Profit of -£5,120,000… So on Ave Arsenal “MAKE” £640,000 each summer on Transfer signings
Now lets compare that to the other EPL teams.

wengers actually making money lol! ok so arsenal aint won anythin for a while sorry to bring that upWink and i know fans want trophies! i said last year as u know i didnt think they wud make the top 4 which i admit i was wrong but it was pretty close till the end of the season! but hes not doing too bad a job when u look what the other teams are spending! im sure if he was averaging 50 million a season he wud get arsenal rite up there!

here's the premiere league debt table. i think that for arsenal to maintain top four position while moving into and paying for a new ground is remarkable.
