Kinda what you'd expect from a rookie quarterback, I hope they keep the playbook simple for Lance, the Westcoast offence is complex & takes time to learn. The running game & short passes are the key.

And Trey Lance made a slow start with the 49ers but the team got him through to win 23-7.

Great win for the Bengals to defeat the Chief who were on an 8 game winning streak. KC 31 - 34 CB the win clinched the AFC North title. 2nd year QB Burrow looked the real deal as he hooked up with rookie WR Chase who caught 3 of his 4 TD passes. Chase had 11 catches for 266 yards, a league record for rookies.

Can the Bengals get to another Super Bowl ? Twice beaten by the 49ers with Legend Joe Cool taking them to victory in 2 close games. The closest was Super Bowl XXIII, with a last minute drive. The opposing QB was my namesake, none other than Boomer Esiason.

Vegas had Cleveland as 3 point favourites on Thursday but for what is going to be Ben Roethlisberger's final game at Heinz Field after 18 seasons with the Steelers and Pittsburgh being unbeaten at home on Monday night football since 1992...
