Ding needs to step up in 2021, or he never will. In the last 3 years, Allen, Robertson, Selby and Trump have all made progress (or returned to form). Ding too often flatters to deceive.

Gonna be at MK after all. Fair enough, if they insist on holding the bloody thing, they might as well try to do it as safely as they can.

Ironically, tolls in China are much lower than here, so conceivably they would be safer running the whole show over there. But don't hold your breath...

The players have spent so much time there in the last 6 months, it will feel like playing at their local club, so maybe it will make them more relaxed.

The running of events at the Marshall Arena has been so exemplary and secure it makes sense to hold the tournament there given the current situation.
Should see some excellent snooker too.

Trump & Lisowski already out with covid ("we know what you're doing") and replaced by Joe Perry and Gary Wilson respectively I think. Which could be good news for Dave Gilbert and Kyren Wilson.
