A fun look at predictions as the new session approaches.
I'm expecting a more productive year this time around. The last time there were too many teams who ambushed me, as who would have expected Forest and Brentford to do so well, and Spurs & City to do so badly.
So how to improve this year. Well I could just go for the top result for games, the boring 1-0 score for all the games. Maybe we should record this for a base line.
Another devious way is to find last years winner. Post exactly the same predictions as him, and then make one change at the end of the session. But he may have a bad year and that would mean that you'd do the same.
But in reflection I'll probably do the same as last year. Work it out logically, only to find that my prediction gets blown out of the water by some late penalty awarded by Mr Magoo.
I am making one change this year, I'm waiting till nearer the match. Then I can see who injured, who's playing in the Africa cup and who's been suspended.
So the best of luck every one, and may the best man win.....
