Blu Ray Recommendations

Picked up Star Trek: the Next Generation - The Next Level on blu ray managed to find for about £3.50 you get 3 Eps including the pilot and showcases the series on blu ray which now you can pick up the seasons on blu ray. Picture quality wise it looks stunning, the eps have been remastered from the original negatives and the special effects have been redone and i have to say it looks totally different adding more detail that has never seen before. Sound quality wise it sounds better then ever with a 7.1/DTS-HD transfer, as with the original star trek series on blu ray its a 4:3 picture ratio as thats how the show was filmed back in the day so when watching it in wide screen you'll have borders. Well worth picking up cheap if wanna prepare for buying the seasons on blu ray.

I highly recommend the blu ray "Son of Batman", this tells the story of Damian Wayne son of Bruce Wayne and also features Deathstroke too. First of all the picture quality looks stunning at 1080p making the animation look fluid with the deep rich colours following the action and action. The sound quality is good as well you get a 5.1/DTS-HD transfer and it sounds stunning and crystal clear too.
As for special features there's loads on the disc with 3 different featurettes one on Damian Wayne, one on the design of the characters and the 3rd on The League of Assassins, plus you get 4 bonus cartoons from the different Batman cartoons like Batman Beyond, the Animated series and The Brave and The Bold.
The only thing am a little disappointed with is that it doesn't come with a digital copy of the film like its region 1 counterpart and that theres no steel book version like what they have in the States, all in all well worth picking up and is going around for about a tenner on Amazon.

I highly recommend season three of Sherlock on blu ray, Picture quality wise its amazing no sign of grain any where and everything looks so highly detailed and rich in colour. As for the sound its also amazing with 5.1/DTS transfer and it sounds great when played through a home cinema system. As for extras a few on the disc, i would have liked to have seen a digital of three epos available but never mind. Well worth picking up on blu ray as most sites are selling it for a tenner well adding to your collection.

I highly recommend the blu ray This is The End, The picture quality on this film is stunning especially that its been mastered in 4K as always you get a 1080p transfer. Sound quality wise the film sounds amazing especially if you have a home cinema system, you get a 5.1/ DTS-HD transfer. As for extras theres a good amount on the disc ranging from a gag reel, deleted scenes and many more extras plus on top that you get a ultraviolet copy of the film to view on either a computer, tablet or smart phones.
Well worth picking up as the film is fairly cheap in price now.

I recommend picking the Fast and Furious 6 Movie Collection on blu ray, it comes with a slip cover with 3 cases with each case containing two films each. The picture quality is stunning and well worth the upgrade from dvd to blu ray, each movie looks amazing with a 1080p transfer everything looks highly detailed and rich in colour especially with the images of the fast cars moving in different scenes of the film i was very impressed by how good everything was.
Sound quality wise i was very impressed with a 5.1/DTS-HD sound transfer on each movie, you gotta hear these films through a home cinema system and boy is it loud the sound tracks for each film booms through your home cinema system along with the roar of the cars and tyres tearing along on the road it just sounds great i really can't do it justice describing how good it sounds.
As for the extras there's loads of each film so you get your moneys worth plus each film comes with a ultraviolet copy so you watch them on either a computer, tablet or smart phone.
If you haven't got any of these films, got them on dvd or only got some of them its well worth picking up and it was £19.50 on amazon when i last checked.
