platini says black players will be booked if they walk off due to receiving racial abuse from the fans. that means a white can walk off in support of the black player and not get booked, me thinks platini is a racist at heart. he appears to be condoning racsim not codeming it. platini the nastier version of blatter.

his comments about scotland and wales in the rugby world cup are stupid and shows he how ignorant he is. england, wales, scotland, new zealand, argentina, australia, france, italy, ireland and south africa are the 10 test playing sides others like fiji, japan, usa etc have to qualifer for it but dont underestimate fiji, samoa, usa, japan they are good sides that improving each time. likes that in cricket the 9 test sides automatically qualifer for the world cup.

Manuel Preciado from what i have read he seems to be a decent manager leading Sporting Gijon to 2promotions to the top flight and ending mourinho's 9yr winning home streak in april 2011.

Steve Clark is due to announced as the WBA manager in the next 24 hrs. What a disgrace going for the cheap option again. A club with no ambition what so ever.

I am a WBA supporter and i was hoping for Chris Houghton or a least someone with a decent track record. The last couple of number 2s who got promoted were Steve Kean and Terry Connor. I am sick and tired of the chairmans penny pinching, WBA made 19 Million profit last year yet he still refuses to invest in the team, it,s always free transfers or cheap championship players. Clark is not there for his ability but for his price.

Steve Clarke done wonders at Chelsea as an assistant, don't have a bad word to say about him. I can't speak for all Liverpool and West Ham fans but I think generally they liked him as well.

That doesn't neccessarily mean because he was a good assistant that he'll be a good manager of course, but I'm pleased to see him get a crack at it.
