The Tomb Raider sequel has been cancelled due to MGM losing the rights franchise. It’s currently in the process of totally being rebooted.

Batgirl, due to be released on HBO Max later this year, has been cancelled and won't get a release, despite almost being finished.

I'm expecting the flash movie to be next... I think we will end up with aquaman 2 being the final movie in the DCEU early next year.

Before Warner Bros try and do another shared universe I think they should take a bit of time planning it instead of hotshoting it, DC needs a Kevin feige type guy

^ yeah agree. Get the feeling this Discovery boss doesn't like the DCEU but he likes the streaming platforms even less after he axed CNN+ after it barely started. Mad how they finally got Micheal Keaton back as Batman and they could end up axing both his films. But we'll see with the Flash, as even Ezra still hasn't managed to kill it off yet lol.

Gutted for Leslie Grace (and the rest) but maybe the movie was so bad, this done her a favour

Lady Gaga getting cast in Joker sequel Folie A Deux, rumoured as Joaquin Phoenix's Harley Quinn although not confirmed. Also seems to be a musical.

Yep the discovery boss doesn’t like streaming platforms as there’s reports going round that HBO MAX is shutting down & no more films apparently will have a joint release at cinema & on HBO MAX

It’s not that he doesn’t like steaming it’s that they’ve lost tons of money and shares have been down 31% so there cutting the fat to save money. There plan is to focus on making big budget theatrical movies then put it on that platform way afterwards and as close as the cinema release.
