We are being linked with a move for Senegal striker Dame N'Doye, the last thing we need is another striker from Senegal

yeah the last 2 have been crap

My main concern getting another striker from Africa is that we lose all our fire power when the African Cup of Nations is on in January, so that also means I don't think we should go for Yakubu either. Where we need to strengthen this summer is another centre back, we may need another right back if we sell Simpson, another midfielder and maybe a striker, but we may have to sell one to buy one. It may seem a lot of players to bring in, but we will be playing a lot of matches next season

There are reports that Man City could make a 25 million bid for Van Persie, if he fails to agree a new deal at Arsenal. It doesn't make to me though, as Mancini said he has a enough fire power up front

I might watch the England friendly against Belgium tonight, just to see if the goal technology will be used. Its surprising Belgium are not in the Euros with the amount of talent they have

You're right about the Belgium side, Dan. I can only assume they have 6/7 good players and the rest are average with poor depth

Free tickets, Jesus Christ most be your lucky day. On Lambert becoming Aston Villa manager, I hope he is given some cash to splash not that he needs that much, because he's able to spend small for good players

I'm glad I was up early on my bike sweating out last nights beer haha!! Other wise I might of been feeling rough for today.

Lambert should receive decent backing, I'm sure they'd have had to of swayed him with a transfer kitty. Be interesting to see how well he does. It doesn't even seem that long ago he was still manager at Colchester.

Lambert is getting a bit of stick for not being loyal, but I disagree with this. If things started going bad next season would the board hesitate to pull the trigger and sack him, I doubt it. Put your money on Holt to go to Aston Villa now and for Aston Villa not to keep one clean sheet next season
