I think austerity is the other thing that needs to tackled with immediate effect after Brexit has been dealt with

There is - I agree - an issue around the second of your gripes! Honours should not be given to those that serve in govt, simply because they did so!! Having said that, some form of recognition for their willingness to put their heads above the parapet - with so many willing to have a pop at them - I don't think is unreasonable. Needs to be independently bestowed I think, rather than in the gift of PM etc. Easy though to always see the bad side, from the sidelines, if not willing to put one's own hand up to get it dirty by serving! If the DUP are on board there are no other NI mp's (save one independant, I think).

No, if they can convince the 'independent' Tories to back the deal, and Moggy can keep the ERG in line, It won't take that many Labour MPs to defy Corbyn.

If Labour are the only ones to fuck this up now, they will be toast at the next election.

It'll turn out to be May's deal with hundreds and thousands sprinkled on top. In which case it won't even float let alone set sail.
