RE: Manchester United FC
Getting Alvez in for free isn't bad, think he's rubbish at defending but he's excellent at going forward-could help improve Rafael's crossing.

Just watched the Moyes interview, the problem wasn't just the bad (admittedly sometimes bad luck) results, it was the lack of systematic chances created throughout the whole season thus lack of goals and that's why it was right to let him go.

I suppose everyone Brazil call up are awesome-until they get a drubbing and everyone they drop (especially if they might join United) are crap?

I wouldnt say no to him but I speak just as an individual. I know plenty of other United fans but we don't all have the same thoughts so guess some might be unhappy at signing a world class player direct from Barcelona.

19 year old Paddy McNair is to be rewarded for breaking into the first team with a new contract that will see his wages rise 10 times from his current measly 2k a week. Ah the memories come flooding back to when, as a wet behind the ears youngster, my pay increased by £18,000 a week bladewave
Obviously, if we don't offer such a contract another team will. It's a different bloody life for the priviledged sectors of society who get out of proportion reward for the few hours they actually work. Young and promising talent like McNair, Sterling etc should be learning the value of hard work, not being rewarded beyond avarice before they have fully proved themselves.

Generally there's too much money being thrown about in the premier league, people often ask why young english footballers don't play abroad, even on loan and the most common reply is that they're not good enough so they're not wanted by teams on the continent, however I can't see the likes of Sterling, Barkley, Shaw etc. playing for a midtable German, Spanish or Italian team even if they were wanted, because of the money. Why go abroad, learn a new language and get paid less?

We have the highest paid footballers, the highest ticket prices, the highest TV revenue and because of all this we're stuck with arrogant, overrated players.

To think that Muller-the guy with 10 WC goals at the age of 25 is paid less than Ashley young is taking the piss. I'm pretty sure there's more ridiculous wage packets out there too.

Mata, Januzaj and Shaw have all been poor so far, RVP has done well considering the very little service he's been given.

Just our luck to concede from their only shot on target. Di Maria and maybe even Rojo will be blamed for the goal but I don't see why Shaw got sucked into midfield when the player was facing the wrong way.

Marouane Fellaini's goal against West Brom was first for Man Utd – it came on his 24th appearance.

imagine taking your shirt off to celebrate a DRAW at HOME, some say your "fans" would still be fast asleep now if you didn't score
