There is no way id leave stevie g, rooney, lamps or terry at home. Stevie G is a natural leader, he can change games in an instant look what he has done at liverpool. Rooney is one of the best strikers out there and can score when ever he has the ball and Lamps has scored 150 goals in the prem, the first midfielder to do so, he is a goal machine. Even though i hate terry you cant criticise his passion for england and he is a great defender.

grant holt has more goals than wellbeck Carroll and defoe put together yet no place for him.

i would give hart the captianacy like spain have casillas because hart will always be in the squad unless he has dramatic dip in form or injury.

hart, johnson, lescott, tery, baines, barry, parker, wallcott, ox, gerrard, caroll.

there is a lack decent strikers. it seems that you can score less than 15 goals in a season or play shite you get an england cap.

I have looked at England's squad and I must say I'm stunned Richards is over looked for Johnson. Richards is a far better right back than Johnson and he is also versatile. I wouldn't be surprised if Richards decided to retire soon from international football, because no matter what he does he just gets over looked

Even Danny Simpson would be a better option than Johnson, he's been good for us this season, he might not be fit, I think he got an injury, but I'm not sure how serious it is

Adam Johnson should have got in as well instead of Downing. I know he's in and out of the City team, but whenever he's given a chance he produces and I think I'm right in saying has a better record this season than Downing
