Chelsea lost at Newcastle for the 3rd time in a row. Plus in 5 matches away to Newcastle he has never won.

These results happen. Don't think Chelsea have much to worry about, given the strength of their squad. They are by far the dominant team of the season and as a neutral I can't see much to change that viewpoint. The only serious challengers this season are Man City and if they have lost Aguero for any length of time....

I agree totally in regard to city. However, they could come in for Sakho from west ham during the transfer window. He would be no mean stand in for Aguero. As a West Ham fan I really hope not but would be really surprised and relieved if none of the bigger clubs came in for him during the transfer window

Cesc Fabregas got another assist against Stoke on Monday and now has 12 Premier League assists for the season. The most by any player last season was 13 by Steven Gerrard for Liverpool and the record is 20 by Thierry Henry for Arsenal in 2002/03.

Saw an article somewhere the other day regarding Wenger's claim he didn't need to re-sign Fabregas because he already had plenty of good enough players in that role. It compared Fabregas' assist record with Wilshere's. Fabregas has more assists this season than Wilshere has in his entire first team career!

Cesc Fàbregas now has 14 Premier League assists for the season. It's a bit surprising he's only been Barclays Man of the Match twice, but Eden Hazard leads that list with 5 awards.
