Fair point.

Though Teejay may not have interacted through the Forum, she could give lessons on productive fan interaction while on screen. Responds to all comments in the chatbox (even the dumb ones); never rattles the can for tips, buzzes or privates; and I can’t recall any moans about ‘freeloaders’ or similar; and is always a bundle of positive (if fidgety) energy.

I expect Ms Bell will prevail. But Ms Walker has my vote.

We all seem to take this one just a bit too seriously — which is probably a testament to the HOF doing its job.

Hope you eventually reconsider, but would understand if you didn’t. The holidays bring enough real-world hassle. Who needs more hassle in our made-up virtual world?

I seem to remember Kelly once, wearing a short dress and no knickers. And that was on a dayshow Tongue

There's some evidence of this somewhere here.

Whilst the caps of this incident might have been a one-off, going commando was not uncommon for Kelly. Usually she would wear tights, which maybe in her mind made it alright in terms of rule breaking. She was no stranger to Ofcom.

I'm actually at peace with Kelly not getting into the HOF, she sits in a place above & beyond the HOF.ImportantSmile

I've said it many times, in different places, it's a popularity contest not a wrestling match.

Just count the bloody votes. Highest number wins. No controversy.

Can't find my bit of paper now, but iirc, Nicole would win it. And that would be just fine by me, even though I didn't nominate her.

This post has struck a chord with me, although I don't quite get the wrestling analogy.

The way we do it here it is very much a popularity contest. As has been posted here other more significant and established HOF's suffer from some of the same controversies that we have encountered & in the main they operate on a different format, generally committee based, but some incorporate fan votes.
Our HOF is a HOF in name only, it involves nothing different to set it apart from all other comps.
We could rename it the HOF Recency Bias Awards, which would be much more fitting.

I don't profess to have all the answers, there's no perfect solution, maybe it could be better, the only guarantee is that it will always provoke debate, & that's ok, after all we are a forum, & that is the essence of any forum.

12 in one last 8, and 10 in the other last 8. Someone doesn't follow sport, clearly... oh well, happy to vote Tongue
