duno why venkys took over blackburn in the first place, i heard today that the sacking of paul hunt was down to cost cutting measures so why buy a football club?, seriously what do these chicken guys bring to blackburn? no investment, no knowledge of the game, no knowledge of what even a good manager represents hence the appointment of steve kean 2 years ago.

So we'll have another season of poor refereeing standards then and more cheating & diving before that comes in.
If anything I sure hope that the PL & The FA will decide to get tough and bring in new penalties for this. Players have got away with it for far too long in my opinion. i wonder nhow much longer will fans put up with and start staying away from games.

I think refs who make mistakes should be demoted to Conference!!

I think there are a few sections of the Newcastle fans, who still don't like him. The reasons are for that are mainly because of the season we had when relegated on how he treated Kevin Keegan, because he is the Messiah in the eyes of Newcastle fans. Seeing the club plunge into relegation, his treatment of Hughton, who did a great job getting us promoted, but got unfairly sacked and there are fans, who are not happy with the stadium name change. Plus the transfer policy the club employed by selling all our best players and at the time fans felt he just pocketing all the money for himself. I think even Ashley knows these days that he is still not that popular with the Newcastle fans, because he doesn't sit with the fans at away matches.

But there are a lot of supporters who these days are now taken a liking to Ashley. Fans are happy that he has cleared most of the clubs debt, although fans were sceptical with the appointment of Pardew, Ashley has been given credit for that appointment, he has now changed the transfer policy, which is one of the reasons why we are so high up the table, where we buy good, but cheap young players in leagues such as France, Holland and Germany. The great scouting system we have. He has invested in new facilities for the club.

So in a way you can say the majority of the Newcastle fans have now changed their attitude towards Ashley for the better, not only because of the season we are having now, but because he is investing in the club and the majority of the fans now see that the club is heading in the right direction

yeah thought he seemed to have a majority of the fans with him well even if they dont like him they are not protesting the venkys just seem to get worse daily now apparently they havent paid ryan nelson the remainder of his contract. basically he had 18 months of his contract remaining he did a deal with the venkys to be released now seems they havent paid him some of what he is owed i know he doesnt need it as he is at spurs now but its a principle at stake.
