I do think now there is every chance that there WILL be a GE BEFORE we leave the EU on Oct 31st.
I do think that the likelihood of Boris being crushed in a parliamentary vote in September is a real one, & have felt throughout the referendum/BREXIT process, Parliament, the MP's have shown NOT ONCE that they will implement the will of the people on this issue and used this as a cheap point scoring debate for their own gains and I think whatever happens, Britain will leave with no deal on 31st and combined with the Tories being crushed in a GE under a leader with no real mandate, the constitutional crisis that will follow will break up the UK forever, which is not a good thing

Everything depends on if the opposition parties can actually put what they are now saying into action.
I think party before country, pettiness and blind ambition will likely scupper everything still, I don't trust politicians at the best of times, but now...

I think this line sums up the initial reason for the referendum in the first place, at the time it wasn't some existential battle for the soul of the UK to determine their own future or whatever, it was all about the Tories losing ground and votes to UKIP. The referendum was only called by Cameron to hold the right-wing of the Tory party and this is the result, a complete mess

See corbyn calling it a bankers brexit even thought the majority voted to remain and some major instutions funded the remain campaign

still least he didnt call it a Jewish Brexit so thats a win on him
