So, several MP's (including Dominic Grieve), will now ask Queen the sack Boris if he refuses to resign if he loses a no confidence vote this autumn...

More than likely phone charges for all the channels will likely rise too, only had thought of that - I had never considered the impact of Brexit on the channels before now and I wonder if they would even relocate to Europe to keep any non - UK licences

I wonder if British goods exported in the EU (& possibly the US), will be subject to export tariffs after 31 Oct that are so shockingly high that will impact on shop prices

does this whole Brexit thing remind any of you of thr ERM scenario?

^^^ It did when Newsnight had norman lamont on talking bollocks the other night like we trust him cos he fucked up the Eonomy in late 80's lead to my parents losing there house cos interest rate was 15%

funny thing is Boris thinks if we no deal then we will get a free trade agreement but irish pm put him straight saying no deal and before trade deal all the stuff in the withdrawel agreement will have to be settled anyway including any payments

As I'm from farming stock interesting piece on Newsnight last night about 1/3 of Northern Ireland milk being exported across the border for processing being subjected to an addition 18p per litre tariff post 31/10. Price per litre is currently 22p so you're almost doubling the cost.

Impact may be that there would be cull of cattle in NI. Milk supply chain is typically that it is processed and bottled within 2 days of leaving the farm so if price of milk supply goes up, Republic will immediately go elsewhere (in country or EU production). So farmers could be dumping milk very quickly and knowing farm finances and the dependence on the monthly milk cheque, some could go bust if they can't find an alternative UK processor.

Had some spanner on from Agriculture waffling about planning and resilience without being able to answer whether the tariff would actually apply

What would be the point?

In the event of a no deal Brexit non-UK broadcasting licences would not be valid in the UK, so what would be the point in keeping them?
