Obviously trying to deflect the blame for his own appalling response on The WHO & China but & I hate saying this there is some credibility in what he is saying in The WHO being too China centric

An unhinged person acting unhinged during a time of crisis, with nobody stepping up to stop the behavior is scary to see.

What's scarier to me is, why?

The answer is because he is still a big enough of an electoral asset. If he became a hindrance & they thought he was going to lose them the next election they would probably get rid of him but he is not simply because he has the support of tens of millions. Is that because the right wing media are spewing his propaganda ?, is it because the mainstream media have been largely complacent in challenging him & have indulged his press conferences, his rallies & given airtime to his surrogates because Trump = ratings = money ?, is it that the public prefer a no nonsense strongman no matter how detrimental that may be to democracy because they see democracy as merely the will of the people

Or is it all of the above? Probably & all of the above means that the cabinet will not invoke the 25th amendment or the party seek another candidate because they fear the electorate & want to keep their own jobs

We like to think that politicians are a different breed, that they are essentially different from the likes of us but politicians are not born they are made, if we got rid of the people in Trump's cabinet & the GOP senators & replaced them with ordinary people would the outcome really be that different? It's just human nature, which is both sad & scary
