There's a private prosecution been lodged, where Boris is being summonsed to court because he claimed the UK sent the EU £350M a week. He will be on trial for misconduct in a public office for lying and misleading the public.

all part of trying to discredit him before the leadership election ....quite frankly anyone else but boris is onto a loser i say elect him and lets see how long he lasts

^ Irrespective of his position on Europe he is undeserving of the honour to be the Leader of any party. He’s been sacked previously as a government minister for lying directly to his party leader. He’s been found guilty at least twice of failing to declare his expenses truthfully. He was the worst Foreign Secretary in living memory. What on earth qualifies him for the job?

^ I’ve not made up my mind yet (and I don’t have a vote) but I’m leaning towards Rory Stewart, Michael Gove & Sajid Javid. I’d certainly like to hear more of what they have to say & my view is not a straightforward Brexit focused decision.

Clever money, were any to be placed, might be on Jeremy 'I made a real cock up of the health service but doing better as Foreign Secretary' Hunt. Phew! Alternatively maybe Gove or Stewart or an outsider Cleverley but then no-one really knows what he is about or what he stands for, he's just basically a dyed-in-the-wool Tory Boy! I do hope that Boris is made to go to court to answer for what he has 'allegedly' done I never believed that £350m 'we pay to the EU will go to the NHS' bollocks anyway.
