The "pandemonium" section of the Olympics 2012 opening ceremony, as repeated late last night (why so late?!). Still an incredible piece of work, and a credit to all involved that it worked to such great effect.

Eat The Press
How Clinton and Obama pardoned/commuted way more folk than Trump has. And how Jake Tapper suddenly acted like a journalist.

One Night in 2012 - An Imagine special
Alan Yentob in 2016 did a Making Of show about the London Olympics opening ceremony, with Danny Boyle & everyone, plus many of the thousands of volunteers. Almost as amazing as the actual event - how they taught basic drumming and dance moves to hundreds, how the Queen built up her role, how the rings nearly didn't fire, how the chimneys rose & so on.

The 100 S7 Ep9 The Flock. Sheidheda is one badass nutter and poor Hope Sad

Oh and erm Riverdale S3 Ep15, and I'm currently downloading season 4. It's a brilliantly messed up show.

Penny Dreadful: City Of Angels - Ep 1 - 10.

Not on the same level as 'Penny Dreadful' (which I was quite a big fan of) but it had enough going for it to keep me watching and hopefully a second season will follow. An introduction of new characters, story telling and a completely different time and place from it's predecessor (this time being set in Los Angeles in 1938, whereas the original Penny Dreadful was set in the dark corners of Victorian London). The cast are good, the series as a whole is good, Natalie Dormer is great, playing multiple different characters and Rory Kinnear is the only cast member from the original Penny Dreadful but overall I just felt it lacked some of the magic from the previous PD installment. Still worth a look and it has enough going for it to warrant a second season imo. Smile

Riverdale S4 Ep1 - In Memoriam. Another good episode...don't judge me. lol.

This episode was a tribute to Luke Perry. They wrote his character Fred out by making him a hero, dying by saving someone. It was a nice way to acknowledge the death of Luke and it was very well done, probably the best tribute that I've seen a show do. It wasn't just a quick acknowledgement at the end, it was an entire episode dedicated to the character he played. Bravo.
