Chelsea have agreed a fee with Atletico for Filipe Luis.

Great replacement for Ash, one of the top 5 left-backs in European football. But £20m for a 29 year-old full back makes the Luke Shaw fee sound reasonable.

Also looks like Ba's off to Besiktas for £10m, which is a shame since he played an integral part in one of the greatest ever Premier League moments...

I think the 20m is euros not pounds.

It still seems expensive considering his age and that he's only Brazil's 3rd choice left back.

Chelsea have confirmed the transfer of Demba Ba to Besiktas. Ba made 23 starts for Chelsea and 28 substitute appearances, scoring 14 goals.

He is good enough to walk into any top european teams starting 11

Diego Costa will wear the no. 19 shirt (which last season was Demba Ba) and Filipe Luis no. 5 (which last season was Michael Essien).

Chelsea have announced the signing of Didier Drogba on a 1 year contract. Since leaving Chelsea in 2012 Drogba has played for Shanghai Shenhua and Galatasaray, and now begins his 9th season as a Chelsea player.

Now if we could just convince Zola to come back for another year...

Nowhere near the same player, looked past it in the champions league for galatassaray and for ivory coast in the world cup.

Didier Drogba will wear the no. 15 shirt for Chelsea this season. Mohamed Salah, who wore no. 15 last season, will now switch to no. 17. Another change sees Filipe Luis wearing no. 3 and not the no. 5 shirt as originally announced. Kurt Zouma is now no. 5 this season.
