Reports are suggesting that Trump has been impeached on two counts

There's no suggestion about it, they found him guilty of abuse of power and obstructing congress, only three democrats voted against their party. That means that when the Republicans decide not to remove him (which will happen when it moves to the senate), he's still been found guilty and has been impeached. This is something that will be part of his history, but hey, he's done something Obama couldn't do. lol.

they're not gonna send it to the senate until certain concerns are addressed. so it'll hang over trump like a fuckin dark cloud for a while yet.

Yeah I don't think they'll move forward just yet as the Republicans in the Senate are trying to block certain witnesses from testifying

Well yeah

The thing that really grates is how good the republicans are at controlling the narrative and how correspondingly shit the democrats are at taking it back.

The latest is that this is a "partisan impeachment" because the democrats couldn't convince a single republican to vote in favour of it (as opposed to the Clinton impeachment that some Democrats voted for, or the Nixon near-impeachment that some Republicans would have voted for).

They have portrayed this as a Democratic failure, which has poisoned public perception. That's why Trump's approval numbers have jumped up and why support for impeachment is falling.

But, of course, it's nonsense. It isn't a sign that democrats failed to make their case -- it's a sign that Republicans are slavishly, sycophantically devoted to Donald Trump.

If they can't remove him from they will most likely to have to force him out & he won't go quietly you can be sure of that.....And makes history as only the third President to be impeached
