Must admit looking forward to this game tonight as a neutral ( well semi nuetral as most of my mums family are City fans ) Just hope there is not contorverary no shitty ref decisions and no play acting and diving and we talk about this game for the right reasons but somehow i doubt this will be the case !!

i will be very happy if tonight's game is a complete non-event with zero shots on target. a repeat of last season's dull 0-0 will do very nicely!

i'm not happy about Balotelli's involvement. Martin Atkinson is a twat

To be fair it's the media you should have a problem with really. I don't think anyone from the FA linked 'Arry with the job (I might be wrong though). Yeah agree with Phoenix on this one. The F.A never made a statement saying they wanted Redknapp, and they had no reason to release a statement to say they didn't want him either.
It's unfair to blame the F.A on this one. It is solely down the the media, they've built their mate 'arry up to be some kind of managerial god, and they'll be the first once to start slagging off Roy if things don't go right.

Compare the two C.V's and Roy Hodgson wins hands down. Redknapp hasn't achieved a huge amount in club football to convince me he is worth a go.


Also on your last point, this is exactly the reason why I want Hodgson in. As soon as Capello left, players started coming out saying they wanted Harry. Redknapp would pander to the likes of Rooney and Ferdinand, not only that, what the fuck has Rio got to say of any interest about the England job? He's not first team at United any more, let alone England. If ANY player don't give Roy their backing then they should be dropped.
