If it is Brock v Reigns at Summerslam they'll milk the only two wrestlers to beat Undertaker at Wrestlemania spiel to death.I just get an inkling that it may be a Triple Threat Match between Brock v Strowman v Reigns, that way if Reigns pins Strowman for the strap Brock can claim he wasn't pinned (like Seth Rollins pinned Reigns & not Brock a few Wrestlemania's ago).

Rumours are circling that Aries requested his release as he wasn't happy being pigeon-holed in the Cruiserweight division & wanted a more main roster role.It's a shame as wwe had a great established wrestler (a great talker on the mic too) in Aries but just didn't know how to utilize him properly.

On a different topic AJ Styles won the US Title last night against Kevin Owens last night in a main event at Madison Square Garden so it looks likely the upcoming feud with Nakamura will involve a title.

That sucks about Aries going, but he wasn't being used to his full potential, so I don't blame him for wanting to leave.

That's a shock about the US title changing hands at a house show. It would've been cool to see a change at a PPV, but I suppose they want that 'anything can happen' feel at all of their events.

^^ shame about Aries as he's loaded with talent,just too small to be taken seriously by Vince as main event material.

Good point Toonlink, I think you're right about the title change.Must be an attempt to make things more exciting and unpredictable.

ISTR Aries took a long time to reach his summit in TNA, so maybe he felt he couldn't hang around another year waiting for his chance. Look at Cesaro, or Styles, or Owens, or Joe, for differing times between arrival and suddenly getting their chance.

Or maybe he really really wants a feud with Alberto thing in GFW

aires changed the x division with his option c story line a few back when he cashed in the x division title for tna world championship title match.

I think a balor v aires would have been a good one.

I think it is great that smackdown do things like having titles won at house shows rather than the usual stuff also it would mean that styles could lose the title at battleground against nakumara.

Yeah, that rings true as well. Of course you can get away with that if WWE likes you... so maybe the writing was on the wall anyway.
