Yeah I'm going to carry on drinking there. It's £2.15 for a crappy beer decent pint from a local microbrewery. Even if Martin was a remain campaigner I'd still be drinking there and I'd hazard a guess that most sensible remain voters feel the same way - why cut off your nose to spite your face.

As for the stock market stuff, I've just had a look at some of the figures. The Wetherspoons share price is up over 80% since June 2016. Martin owns about 25-30% and the market cap is now £1.4 billion so I think that means he is over a hundred million pounds richer than he was on referendum day and that's without the dividends. So if he is shitting himself then he's shitting himself all the way to the bank. As for the other shareholders, the company floated 27 years ago so if he was crap at his job they would have ditched him long ago.

Anyway we all know your not really bothered about the quality of the beer of the competence of the Chairman, you're just upset that he happens to support a political cause that you disagree with.

Oh I nearly forgot that their latest figures show a 6% increase in like for like sales over the year so not much evidence of a remoaner boycott there

I did notice when questions were put to the speaker after his announcement JRM mentioned that the Kyle amendment backed by Labour which effectively backs Mays Deal on the provision that it is put into a 2nd Referendum cannot be voted on under Bercow's ruling as it is a 3rd vote on the unchanged Deal.To say Bercow boxed himself into a corner is an understatement gauging by his lack of reply.If Bercow is true to his word (which I doubt he is) then it also means is that there can only be one more vote for a 2nd Referendum down the line.
