Sunday night was always virtually guaranteed to be Adele night in her Bangbabes days and for a while on Elite as well, but these day shifts are becoming more and more frequent and she's tweeted that she's got no more night shifts for a month.

This is old ground for those of us who've been watching her for years but Adele has one of the loyalist followings of any girl on any channel. It could (and should) be much bigger but it has been her choice to keep herself UTR and we have to respect that. Her nighttime thread often sinks down to page three on the Elite section but she is in her sixth year on the channels and so must be doing something right.

What you have to remember is that this game isn't about ratings, forums or hero worship, it's about getting people to pick up a phone and call a premium rate number.

That's why the Adeles and Victoria Robertses etc are so highly rated by the channel bosses as they consistently bring in the wonga!
