2.6 Ayrshire & Arran, somehow incorporating Dumfriesshire too. I'd have thought she might have done as much of Scotland as you can, but she seemed to infer there might be another series yet. It is enjoyable to be fair.

Call the Midwife BBC1 Sunday 8pm: episode 6. Now I don't normally get emotional about things like that, you know babies being born and mothers struggling or fathes that were feckless and even nuns but last night's story about a baby that looked healthy but in the end died of rubella-related syndrome and a family that might lose a child they adopted because the dead mother suddenly turns up to claim her, really left a lump in my throat and I am not ashamed to say a few tears were shed. It just shows you how such powerful writing and being tightly scripted this series is with marvellous performances from the actors and actresses and also how popular this series is with viewers.
