Red Light Lounge/Central - Web Stream

Someone from RLC really needs to come on and explain this. Wether it's a one off or wether this is to be the norm now.She might not answer a lot of questions, but Cathy usually comes on to explain problems with the stream.

those of us who can only access the shows via the streams are losing out good style . given the shows are now relatively tame, so shouldnt upset offcom, isnt it time to do away with the 8 week rule bollocks so we can see what we've missed while its still fresh in everyones minds? how many people are going to remember to or bother to post shows in 2 months time? by that time posts might be banned altogether!!

Not only discouraging recording, but discouraging calling as well! Why should I phone up if teh screen goes black after 5 mins?

Guys, I've noticed that the stream refreshes every 4 minutes and that it will only refresh once and continue playing. Basically if you click on the play button on the stream it will play for 4 minutes, refresh and then play for another 4 minutes and then stop, so technically it plays 8 minutes in total automatically and after that you need to click the play button again to keep it running again in the same pattern. If after the 8 minutes the play button isn't clicked, it stays blank and then restarts again after 4 mins but that way you have recordings that have blank 4 minute gaps in them. If you feel lost because of my post don't worry it's kinda long and complicated lol

Why has nobody from RLC been on to explain this?

Mellie? Cathy? Someone better speak up or you're going to lose customers. Simple as that.

What the hell happened to stream 1? I was recording Lucy's show and then the damn thing just went off.

She's still there on my TV, so why not the webstream?

ADDITION: Now it seems to have come back on.

The streams reload every 4 minutes. 99% of the time they reload with a blank screen so you have to click on the stream number again to get it to load.

Yep, But that would not stop an rtmp recording of stream 1. And it did, so it means stream 1 stopped transmitting for a short time. But there player seems to have switched Lucy to stream 2 now!!!

So, I e-mailed Red Light on Monday night about the 4 minute interuption. (putting it as nicely as I possibly could might I add)

.......would you believe I've not heard back from them?
