New Ofcom Rules

Things dont appear to be banned, they are banned. They might still be shown but now channels are risking £90,000 fines if any sod complains.

A quick look at the new rules shows that the bullet point allowing implied nudity has been dropped, so now it is unclear if that is permitted, creating yet more risk.

thats complete bollocks and how can 90,000 pounds be justifiable especially when said complainee doesnt have to watch the shows and can set up a block using a universally adapted hand held remote control its just total bullshit and just a scam for easy money in these hard times,
im not suprised im un-impressed with the line up on the shows this morning,i actually came here to complain about that and but now,im finding myself defending said channels,all channels really need to club together and tell ofcom,would be complainers just need to set up a pin protection and say the fine is not properly justified through a certain peoples taste which adds up to only a few in a minority report
talking about ott bollox,90 grand is a piss take....
im up @ 6am and not watching the shows coz thier not worth watching at the miniute & the breakfast shows where 1 of the favourite parts of the channels,its beyond over-the-top now
and if the shows wanna survive i really suggest they make a stand coz for the viewer its not very entertaining if im honest

What a complete load of f***ing bullshit. Yet again this country is employing a regulator to make decisions a RESPONSIBLE parent should be making.

Don't put it on Freeview (unless it's encrypted), use the Parent Control Option on Sky or just press the f***king Off Switch.......Just how difficult does it have to be?

i think ofcom should make their own babe channel ,im sure that all the family would be entertained then !

only the channels with a licence outside the UK can hope to survive so the likes of babestation will be ok but most of the others will be killed off. No one will watch if there is no tease.

The tease should still remain, but it's the fact that they'd be allowed to show more, which would make all the difference in the world. Since they currently are NOT allowed to show more, everthing is so paranoid, whereas if they were allowed to, any slips wouldn't be an issue. Even if they did show everything all of the time, people would still watch, so I think you are wrong in that respect. I can't imagine thinking to myself "Hmm, I think I might watch the babe channels tonight, but wait, the women are always showing everything, so maybe I should just watch crap TV or turn the TV off" . That's just not going to happen.

The channels need to take a stand as the rules are a joke now, but they are obsessed with fighting each other so can't see that happening at the moment. But good shows can still be done under them. Fernanda last night is a perfect example. Elite generally is the best under them. There are already safeguards in place to protect children & vulnerable people yet ofcom are seemingly oblivious to this

Yes I'd agree with you their Rammy, Elite and probably Babestation too are the most consistent when it comes to working under ofcom rules at present with RLC also putting on the occasional top show too. But it's an absolute fucking joke and outrage that these channels are even regulated in the first place, why is the vagina so offensive to ofcom when it comes to a live show, it's got as much right to be seen as the tits do. With all safety measure's that are currently in place commonsense should really prevail, if we're stuck with ofcom all we can hope for is that any future committee panel look at the babe channels in a more favorable light unlike the present religious cretins running the board.
