Ouch!!

When I said early goal I did mean Birmingham! However it is Blackpool who have scored it. 2-0 and 3-0 on aggregate.

Matt Phillips with the goal, it wasn't that long a go that Matt Phillips was at Wycombe in League 2. Proves there is talent in the lower leagues and clubs don't always need to resort to duff foreign imports.

So do I. I can't see it, I think Wham beat them comfortably in both league meetings (if my memory serves me right) however it is a one off game, so who knows!

I will be rooting for Blackpool, would hate to see the pikeys and dildo boys back in the money league!

Bad news from Preston North End.

Neil Mellor (Liverpool fans might remember him) has been forced to retire due to a knee injury at the age of 29. Big loss for PNE as he was a regular on the score sheet for them.
