They had spent more money last year then the whole of League 2 put together when they were in the BSP. This season they have pretty much got themselves a low end Championship/ high end League 1 type budget.

5live commentor asked for someone who pick locks. apparently this dick does this sort of thing at sporting events. like the dick that managed to get in the team photo with manure team at a champions league game.

he should be handcuff to the showers in jail and made to play pick up the soap game.

United officials say the decision's been made for safety reasons after talks with the police and Trafford council and add that it will allow for extra stewards.

Most will see it as a direct response to United being given a reduced allocation for their last two visits to Anfield.

Last October United were given 1,965 tickets instead of the usual 3,015. The decision was taken by Liverpool City Council's licensing committee after concerns raised by the Ground Safety Advisory Group over persistent standing and the blocking of aisles and gangways during previous matches against the Liverpool.

For last weekend’s FA Cup tie at Anfield United were handed 5,319 tickets out of a potential 6,400 with segregation issues raised as the reason for the reduction.

A United spokesman said: “A detailed risk assessment of the match carried out by us and agreed by their Ground Safety Advisory Group which includes Greater Manchester Police and Trafford Council has resulted in Liverpool receiving a reduced allocation.

“This was necessary to allow for additional stewarding and segregation plans.”
