what's even more disturbing was reading Darlington sacked their entire squad!! and I heard on 5 live that's only because the owner's pulling out of the club after being quoted he was losing money.

And I completely agree, the problems arise when you have people taking control of football clubs who know nothing about the game.
Surely it is far better to have people in control of clubs who know how football clubs work and have an understanding of the game itself?
I wonder if the Venkys would ever dare showe their face at a Blackburn home game? sometmes I think Mike Ashley is another prime example.

update about darlington, someone or group has put £50k into the club so it operate for 2more weeks the administration company says that there is someone or group wanting to buy or invest in the club.

at kettering mark cooper is refusing to manage the club until the players are paid.

the exceptions are randy lerner and the americans at liverpool who have experience at managing sports clubs but not football clubs. if the owner/chairman who has no experience of football appoints a director that has eperience of football then thats ok but mike cashley and venkys have not done so.
