I was 9 back then, and i still have an original model of a Space 1999 Eagle Transporter, (will post a pic on my Images thread)
MACGYVER s3 ep16 good to see the brief return of Riley's Dad, played by Billy(William) Baldwin and a storyline of a jet that crashes and Mac with new agent/bodyguard Desi(Levy Tran) go searching for the pilot, a personal friend of Mac's. Incidentally this new girl Levy Tran-look her up, she's very hot.Tongue

Keiser Report - the excellent Michael Hudson was on the whole show to point out that it's the economics, stupid.

L.A.’S Finest Ep 1 “Pilot” Season 1

Spinoff from the Bad Boys movies with Sydney Burnett system of Marcus Burnett from Bad Boys 2. Aside from her there’s another character from the movies. Gotta be honest about the first Ep it just seems like a watered version movie and not in a good way.

Totally agree mate, I binned it off halfway through the first episode. I found the humour dated, it came across as cheap and tacky.
The Lethal Weapon tv show succeeded (until they fucked it up), because it was like a homage to the original, this really isn't.

I agree. I like both actresses, (I've loved Jessica Alba since Dark Angel), it's the writing that was the instant issue for me. If the humour was in the same vein as the movies, but their own spin (not just a rip off), that would have worked, if the characters had similar traits, instead of just being female versions, then that would have been good too. It could end up being a great show and run for several seasons (a second is happening), but the cringe of the first half an hour put me right off.

Watched two seasons of Bad Blood on Netflix still not sure if i liked it or not! It stars Kim Coates who played Tig in SOA and i don't think he's cut out to be the lead character in anything. 7/10 at a push. Not sure how true of a story it actually is as they ripped off the entire Adriana in Sopranos snitching story minus the constipation.

Christo and Jean-Claude: Monumental Art
A lovely piece on this Franco-Bulgarian couple who became famous for crazy art projects like wrapping the Reichstag in silver cloth, or blocking a subway with an enormous display of oil barrels to signify the Berlin Wall. Apparently they (well he, she died years back) did a new piece in the Serpentine last summer - a huge structure made out of oil barrels, looked a bit like a pyramid with the top cut off. Apart from the merit of the art, and the fact that getting permissions to do their art things usually took many years, the sobering truth was that they all cost millions to make, money which he had to generate himself and which seemed to take up most of his time.
