14 hrs on a haul job, both Friday and Saturday.

Aircon full on. Only got out about 3 times for a piss.

Finding best way to keep to keep cool is use a cold flannel over wrapped around a bottle of frozen water and have sunk nearly two litres of cold squash

If it's any consolation, it was fucking baltic up here this afternoon

British weather at its most random

My parents told me that our county (HERTFORDSHIRE) was mentioned on the weather forecast and they said we were one of the driest counties in England in June. If it does end up raining, it'll probably in short sharp bursts and not of monsoon proportions.

Then again we can be a fickle lot in this country, we complain about nice weather being too hot, and it's not raining and when it does rain - we we complain we're not getting any dry weather and getting too much rain!!

Not only that, I find it incredible that there is no legal working temperature law in this country and I think Reeves has said that there is no need to change law; which I think should be looked at for the future if temperatures rise further and there are work places where extreme heat could be difficult and dangerous to work in whatever job you do. Several unions have said a legal limit in working temperature is needed.

Thankfully it's cooled down somewhat in my area which is a blessing.
When at home I have been using 2 tower fans and a desk fan pointed directly at me during the worst of the heatwave.
