Thats the problem with all the so called hybrid cars such as I8 the Fisker and the mclaren P1 and the porsche one is that its new technology but least they are lot more sexier cars than the prias and gwhizz.

surely the fact he prefered it to the M3 for the drive home is a step forward.

what ever happened to the Hydrogen car they test drove about 5 years ago nothings happened since

I wonder if it was a prototype which led to the I8 yet we all had to fit catalytic converters to our cars to cut emissions didn't we after a study? And I am sure and correct in saying that the converters had done little to cut emissions!

The real problem is I'm - wondering - how many motorway junctions have points where you would be able to charge it, and how much charging time adds to the journey time.

Wasn't a car brought out once that was powered by solar panels?

Decent show last night,that Ferrari looks fantastic,pity they wouldnt let Stig set a time in it or its rivals,personally i reckon the Porsche 918 would be quickest of the three,also enjoyed the history of Peugeot being slightly mangled.

Strangely about as sensible as the Australian challenge of earlier in the series, yet rather more entertaining, perhaps because it felt more like a challenge that mattered (sort of).

Decent show last night,Lexus have definately missed a trick with their latest creation,normally their cars are equal to anything the German's do but not in this case also enjoyed the Canada trip and i was amazed by how pick up are sold in the USA.

They're lucky I'm not on the Production Team. The temptation to swap Hammond's Breitling Emergency for a £10 Timex would have been impossible to resist

Gillian Anderson was the best bit the rest was all a bit meh!
