Football Banter

We need to campaign the FA to ensure they put an english manager for tthe world cup qualifying competition. Surely experience has taught them that choosing a foreign coach has done little to improve the team's standard or made the team better. We need to find the
british way of playing football again.

I think Fat Sam will always get a mention because some people think he should be the next England manager. I would agree that some might say the 'Special One' might be some people's 1st choice
after Crapello (!), but we got respect in football for our unique
way of playing the game and I feel that is what is missing in our national team so let's start having your names guys. also I feel the FA could learn a thing or two from the success of our cricket team who we should be proud of for being world beaters and hopefully our rugby boys too. One main ingredient it think we never have in our footie team is pride and being proud to represent England at national level.

one things the Cricket and Rugby have in common that most tests and the rugby world cups are played during the season and not after a hard season

could you imagine any of the clubs allowing there stars to play in a world cup tournament during the season i mean the african cup of nations is a prime example the amount of moaning and whinging when african players are taken out when that is on

So why are England playing in black (or is it a very dark blue).
We could have played in our normal white strip.

Bet its those money grabbers in the FA trying to get us to buy a 3rd replica strip.
