I can't imagine anyone disagreeing with Mancini's words, other than that cunt Mark Hughes.

It does epitomise the shitness that is football though, money money money and as Souness said, it's all about me, me, me with these guys, and it has to stop!

It's already out of hand, but FIFA need to sort it, with salary caps and more (I know they have started, but it's beyond a joke).

As people have said, if anyone refused to work at their job, they'll be unemployed...unless you're a underground fucking worker, and strike every fucking year

I wonder howe long it'll be before football gets it's first strike? I know they came close a couple of years ago, but could this Tevez situation be the one the breaks the came's back?

I'd love to hear the exact words that were used between Mancini and Tevez, But I hope Tevez never plays in Briitsh football again.

And as for FIFA, I'd rather much like to see the breakaway happen now rather than later witb the English FA leading the way.
The 2014 World Cup isn't going to be worth winning after all that happened with the bids for 2018/2022. I feel the cup is too much tainted in my book. And Blatter has shown he has little respect for the game itself. Under his reign, corruption and greed has festered itself into the game. When are the FA going to show it's teeth and realise that abstaining fron the election isn't going to do much to get Blatter to go? Mind you the saga of FIFA has preretty much gone quiet in the press to be honest. Maybe PANORAMA need to do more digging to expose FIFA more and get it back on the pages!! I wouldn't be surprised if Blatter's phone gets hacked!!

tevez also got kicked out of golf club for not booking a tee off time. his punishment should be to watch loose women, jeremy kyle, big brother, x factor and other crap tv shows for 24hrs a day for the 2wks. that would make him sorry.

Basically the big players didn't like the way it was being run and felt they were getting done out for what they deserved and made a stand. Long and complicated, and although worlds apart from what's happening in football, the similarities are there is some instances.

So it has just broken, Tevez has been suspended by the club.

On more serious football matters and contrasting stories Bolton midfielder Stuart Holden looks like he is facing another 6 months out due to cruciate ligament damage.

Tevez suspended for two weeks. I remember when Cantona got a world wide ban for what he did on that infamous night at Selhurst Park, but then Cantona did something irresponsible that was
personal. Tevez has brought the whole Game into disrepute.
I guess now FIFA has to act very quickly and put something in
place that makes all professional players world wide that this attitude will not be tolerated, and some sort of punishment has
to be in place to fit the crime perpretated by Tevez and all players must fully accept that they cannot act in the same way as Tevez did, then this way Tevez may find himself on his own. and as for his photo returning from Germany - that shows hw much respect he has for all concerned.

Limavady United, who play in Northern Ireland's second tier, have made a cheeky loan bid for Manchester City's wantaway striker Carlos Tevez.

Limavady have faxed City an official bid to take Tevez on loan for the rest of the season although there was one catch: The team, who play at a 1,500 capacity ground called "The Showgrounds," would expect City to continuing paying Tevez's reported £220,000-a-week wages.

So they would get Tevez to play for them for free.... checky

There have been plenty of strikes in football already. Player strikes have called in Italy and Spain this season alone.

I weouldn't be surprised if City decide to say 'Yes' and then send Tevez's wages to Poland, so he does play for nothing!! I have to admire their cheek though
