Why oh why did Wolves have to go and get a goal at Anfield...? I'd be sitting here with at least one spitfire in the Captain's game now if it weren't for that!! Wink I can't seem to buy a win in this year's game. Will persevere though - got to come good at some point! Smile

That Suarez is an excellent player. Gave Berra and Stearman the run around. Its no surprise that both Liverpool and Uruguay look for the most part pretty impressive with quality like him in their sides. Smile

Oh..... lost my bet at work - if Wolves drew or won at Anfield, my mate would have bought me a subway. Instead, I had to buy him one... oh yeah, thats why Wolves got a goal - trying to save my Subway expenses. Rolleyes

Try harder next time boys... Wink

On twitter, I was spamming the #BBCFootball hoping I would get 'published' on their live commentary text webpage....and I eventually did!

Had to write something really gay, but it got on!

BBC's live commentary also wrote this:

''2118: Meanwhile, City have made another change, with Aleksandar Kolarov on for Gareth Barry. Strange? Yes, and there's possibly a reason for it. We're hearing reports that Carlos Tevez refused to come on when he was asked by Roberto Mancini. Watch this space on that one.''

Very interesting...has Tevez played his last City game?

Edit - this was written at full time:

''2137: An incredible game at Old Trafford but that's nothing on the scenes at the Allianz Arena where Carlos Tevez refused to warm up when he was asked to come on in the second half. Tevez's team-mate Edin Dzeko, who I think he was meant to replace, showed his disgust when he took his place on the bench, and I suspect that is just the start of this particular story.''

''2157: Man City boss Roberto Mancini explained that he brought on defensive midfielder Nigel de Jong for striker Edin Dzeko after 55 minutes with his side trailing 2-0 because "I wanted to calm everything down." He added "Afterwards I wanted to put Carlos Tevez on the pitch, he refused to go on the pitch. For me it is a bad situation." ''

Roberto Mancini revealed that striker Carlos Tevez refused to come onto the pitch in Manchester City's UEFA Champions League defeat against Bayern Munich.

OK if he refuses to play, then he doesn't get paid...
How long does he have left on his contract?

RE: Football Banter
If I were in charge on Man City I would leave him to rot in the reserves or force him to pay off the remainder of his deal. This is another case of "player power" and it should be stopped as City have the cash to make a stand.

The likes of you and I can't go into work, sit at our respective work benches / desks etc etc then simply refuse to work. This guy is paid millions a year to do a job and he simply refuses to do it.
I would like to think there is another side to the story, which I'm sure there is, the fact he wants to move back home. Well tough shit Tevez, your wage demands are excessive and YOU signed a contract. If you want out so much, pay off the remainder you selfish greedy Cuuunnnnn....

I dont care about him missing his family my sympathy is with the likes Soldiers serving overseas who risk their lives every day who miss their Children who earn nowhere near what he earns

Tevez is a knob, remember when people thought United were crazy to sell him ? looks like Fergie knew he was trouble
