Europe, Referendum & Brexit (formerly Europe..IN or OUT??)

Everybody knows it was advisory and not legally binding, it's more about the will of the people, this is what it is all about. It clearly says 'influence government policy making' and the government choose to be influenced by the referendum. the royal perogative was to get around the constitutinal problems, this was challanged.

To go against Brexit would go against the will of the people over all.

On the other hand the vote wasn't a million miles away from 50/50, which is causing all the problems, if we leave, it would be against the wishes of nearly half the population, if stay, against the wishes of over half AND against a demographic vote.

I reckon the House will be slightly split when it comes to the vote

^ The Labour party might be a bit more than slightly split. With any luck it will mean the end of Corbyn & his cronies and the beginning of an effective opposition.

People think it's a given that Brexit will go ahead, it could be nearer that people predict.

Corbyn is safe as long as his opponents continue the same ham-fisted attitude of the past 16 months.

The Tories are split too. You don't believe Ken Clarke and IDS are on the same page?! They're not even in the same book!

Corbyn is like one of those sudoku puzzles that's impossible to solve,he clearly voted leave (as he has history of being anti-EU) but he endorses free-movement & the single-market,not even Mystic Meg would be able to read him.
I think he is safe as leader as long as the Union's continue to prop him up,when he loses their support or if/when he loses the General Election (whichever comes sooner) he's toast.
Also I look at the Labour benches & their isn't anyone that stands out,Andy Burnham is bidding to become Mayor,Chukka has nothing about him at all.My choice at a push would be between either Tom Watson or John Mann (at least they look as though they could have row in a pub judging by past performances).

This is of more importance than the Unions. If his critics had a good enough candidate, they would/should have been put up last Summer. Chuka chickened out in 2015, he would get "chicken Chuka" headlines every day.
