Platoon. 10/10
A classic film

The Lone Ranger 6/10 not as bad as I expected with one or two funny moments and some quite off beat humour... Most noticeably the rabbits and the horse in a tree lol. The music is faithful to the old TV series but I imagine many of the references to it are lost on a younger audience. A bit lacklustre in too many places sadly.

22 Jump Street, wasn't expecting much as especially with sequels but it bloody funny Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum both of which have such good chemistry together, Ice Cube nearly stole the show with his performance. What made the film even funnier is that doesn't take itself seriously by poking fun at itself for being a sequel and copying the same formula. The cameos at the end were great and end credits again poke fun at there being more films and very last credit at the very end was funny too. 9/10.

The Enforcer 9/10. Classic Clint Eastwood movie from 1973. The 2nd of the 5 Dirty Harry movies. For anyone interested I got the bluray box set from HMV for £12
Given the current lack of imagination I'm kind of surprised that Hollywood hasn't done a reboot yet. Mind you in todays pc world it would be so toned down it would be a guaranteed disaster.

The Double, starring Richard Gere and Topher Grace, a really good film with two massive twists in the movie 7.5/10.

The Conjuring 8/10 excellent horror movie, one of the creepiest i've seen in a while.

Godzilla, thought it was a decent great special effects and battles but thought it never really had a plot and actors really under used like Bryan Cranston who for me was the best thing in it but wasn't it very long such a good actor hope to see him in more films 7/10.

The Expatriate, starring Aaron Eckhart 7.5/10.
