Just seen that former WWE and ECW wrestler Axl Rotten has died aged 44

Thats a crazy drop in viewers, considering this is their road to wrestlemania. I dont think this is a small issue thats going to go away either, especially with the crowds around mania time their going to let them know about it.

Yeah,could be a really flat mania.I'm hoping it will turn around but,it's not looking good so far.

The ratings drop is worse than I previously wrote.The 2.9 was from Raw on the 25th of January.

Last weeks Raw got a 2.38 rating,that's below 4 million viewers.

In an ideal booking world that made sense I would book rollins return as a face against a heel reigns that joined the authority to reclaim a championship he never lost.

Yep I agree, a reigns heel turn is what's best for business, similar to rock's path in 98 where he was the corporate champ, that is how it should have been with reigns in terms of getting the boos and then slowly have him turn on the authority, that's the only way I think the majority of the crowd will get behind him

Good ideas.

Over the years all the great heels ended up evolving into great baby faces.Hogan,Stone Cold,The Rock,Mankind.It has to be organic and done over a period of time.Unfortunately,that mentality seems to be lost on the bookers in wwe today.

Yep far too many times wwe just shoves guys down our throats instead of proper build up

That's exactly why the ratings are so low.Sad situation.Nonsensical booking,no build up and egos running the show.All those reasons are what finished WCW off in just under 2 years.
