I'm not going to say I could things going this way when Carter and Hawkins folded so smoothly, but sometimes grim inevitability takes over. Allen-Wilson would have made a cool rematch. Tubs even set this up by saying after his previous match that he was after getting a Triple Crown event 147.

Kyren Wilson is through to the final after an excellent performance to beat Judd Trump 6-3.
The Warrior rattled in breaks of 61 and 89 for a 2-0 lead before Trump hit back for 2-2 with runs of 85 and 52. The fifth frame was littered with penalty points from fouls and gave The Ace in the Pack a 3-2 lead.
But from there the World Champion turned on the after burners hitting breaks of 76, 88, 85 and a closing 106 to blitz into a title showdown with Shaun Murphy tomorrow.
